Today we have a special edition of The Kids Style File with Lindsay. As most fashionistas have heard, the Pantone colour trend of 2016 is Rose Quartz and Serenity. If you’re not sure what this means or how it relates to your world, let me enlighten you.
Pantone is the world-renowned authority on colour and provider of color systems and leading technology for the selection and accurate communication of colour across a variety of industries. The Pantone name is known worldwide as the standard language for colour communication from designer to manufacturer to retailer to customer.
According to Pantone, these are the colours we’ll be seeing all over the interweb soon in fashion and décor, so why not include them into kiddie fashion? In keeping with this, I thought I would highlight my take on the new trend and share some pieces that will keep your mini-me’s looking stylish and feeling comfy while putting their best trendy foot forward.

And now you’re thinking, “Oh, pink and blue, that’s nice… But what does it mean?”
It means that many retailers will be challenged to embrace unisex clothing; blurring the lines between genders and fashion. I am definitely excited to see who will be the first to step up.
The Pantone colours are meant to evoke feelings of calmness and bring about a sense of balance, and I’m all about balance in 2016.
So what do you think about this bold move in our fashion world? Is it a YAY or NAY?
Gender neutral, unisex, removing prejudice from the fashion society… Who knew there was more to fashion than just clothing, I’m definitely embracing this for my boys.
Bring on the PINKS!
