About The College
The College of Magic was established in 1980. The college first opened it’s doors on the 23rd of February in 1980 in Southfield. They welcomed young people wanting to learn how to entertain their friends and families. Together the ethos, curriculum and methodology form a unique haven for aspirant entertainers and big dreamers. Likewise, the life-skills and performance arts taught enrich the lives of young Capetonians from all communities. This is due to efforts by the the diverse nurturing team of staff.
Following a move to Wynberg, the College of Magic arrived at its present home in 1992. The Magical Arts Centre is now housed in a wonderful renovated Victorian house in Claremont, Cape Town. The College has restored the building with the help of the community. In addition, they continue to develop its facilities for its unique teaching and training needs.
