The festive season can be challenging when it comes to the longevity of your pre-cooked and post-cooked food, as we all know that throwing away food equals throwing away our precious resources, time, money and effort… Below are a few tips from GLAD on food storage:

Before you throw away your lemons, squeeze the juice and pour into the new GLAD Ice Cube Bags and place in the freezer. Use the lemon ice cubes to add a healthy zesty lemon taste to your water, whenever you want.
Liquidise your overripe tomatoes in a blender to create a tomato puree that can be used in pasta dishes or as a tomato spread on a pizza base
Wrapping celery in GLAD foil and placing it in to the fridge can help keep the celery fresher for longer.
