BRINGING BABY HOME AND ADJUSTING TO PARENTHOOD WORKSHOP
Expectant parents spend months preparing for the arrival of their new baby, and by the time they bring their new addition home, they’ve taken antenatal classes and read a library’s worth of books to prepare them for the birth, but what about after the birth.
With all this preparation, the reality of caring for a baby can be overwhelming, and when your household grows from two to three, your relationship with your partner is bound to change.
The best way to deal with these changes is to be ready for them.
Bringing baby home is a workshop that focuses on helping moms/couples. It is to help equip moms/couples with the knowledge and skills to cope constructively with the changes brought about by the birth of a baby. It is best suited for pregnant moms/couples in their second or third trimester of pregnancy.
The following topics will be covered:
* And baby makes 3 –adjusting to parenthood
* Getting used to being a mom and dad
* Preparing for baby’s arrival & coming home with baby

* Coping with a crying baby
* Learning to step back while dad sees to the baby
