Zuchini Balls with Danone Tzatziki

Zuchini is a pretty versatile vegetable but not one that everyone enjoys but this Zuchini Balls recipe is delicious and your children won’t even realise that it is a vegetable.

Zuchini Balls
Ingredients for Zuchini Balls

500g zuchini

2Tbsp parmesan cheese

5Tbsp breadcrumbs

1tsp mint

1 egg

salt and black pepper

2Tbsp flour

Olive oil for coating the pan


  1. Grate the zuchini using a grater or food processor. Place in a bowl, sprinkle with a little salt and set aside.
  2. Squeeze as much water from the zuchini as possible. Add the parmesan cheese breadcrumbs, egg, herb and salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Preheat the over to 200 degrees. Line a tray with aluminum foil and olive oil.
  4. Form the mixture into balls, coat with flour and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Serve with our Plain Yoghurt Tzatziki.
